I think styles like this are so cute! Collared tops have always appealed to me. I have a few, and plan on getting so much more! I also think that mixing navy blue with black or brown with black isn't such a bad thing (when done properly, of course!)

I made this set on Polyvore a few days ago and the response to the outfit has been outstanding! Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that collars, blazers and flats aren't such a bad combination!

Have you ever tried a combination like this? I do it all the time!

Hey Lovelies! Today's post is going to be a Dress For Less, which I've been thinking about for a while. If you're into fashion magazines or even looking at lookbooks, you would know that the Miu Miu printed platform maryjanes are quite popular. However, not every fashionista can afford the $800+ pricetag that comes along with these beauties. So, as an alternative, I found these very similar patterned platform maryjanes from Forever21 for just $26! They're currently available from their website if you'd like to check them out! (I'm thinking of getting a pair myself! They're too adorable to pass up.)

Bath & Body Works Haul (12/22/11)

Hey guys! I decided to do a haul blog post for you guys today. I'm going to get to the fashion stuff soon but I figured since I went shopping today I'd quickly write about what I got. (you can click the picture to go to my Luuux post about this haul)

I got:

5 Twisted Peppermint pocket-bac hand sanitzers (5 for $5)
True Blue Spa peppermint facial scrub ($12)
2 Twisted Pepperming foaming hand soaps (6 for $20 deal. my mom got 10)

Best Nail Touch Up-er I've Found!

Heya! Thanks for stopping by my blog to read this post!
I just thought I'd tell you guys about one of my favorite ways to touch up nail polish. And that's using these babies:

That's right, the Sally Hansen nail art pens! They come in a variety of colors. I have black, navy, red, purple and silver. Let me tell you, these make the BEST touch up tools ever! As you can expect, the colors only work with certain non-Sally Hansen nail polishes, but hey! It's bang for your buck - the ability to create adorable nail designs AND 10-second fix-ups, even when you're on the go!

I JUST used the black pen to touch up some chipping tips of my Ulta navy blue polish, which is almost black but not quite. I can't tell the difference between the blue and the black! The nail art pens leave a shiny finish, so they don't even require a top coat. I like to use the black pen for touch ups the most, since I find dark blues/greens/black are the most noticeable when they've chipped.

For their multiple uses, I think that the average price (I've found) of $9 is worth it! These pens are amazing. I hope to collect them all one day. My next one will definitely be the white one!

This is me. This is my blog.
My name is Brieanne. But I prefer being called Brie (it's easier to remember and spell)
I'm a 14-going-on-15 high school Sophomore from the west coast of the United States.

If the title of this blog hasn't made it obvious enough already, this little place on the world-wide-web is all about fashion and beauty. My sense, specifically. I know the fashion industry is a wide open space, miles and miles of beautiful differences. Yet, in my opinion, this wide open space can be somewhat the same. Why? Because, everyone who loves fashion - no matter what their personal style is - loves fashion. There's no denying that.

So, being that I'm just one of millions of people - ladies and gents - who adore clothes, I figured I'd put my spin on things into the big melting pot of fashion/beauty blogs just on blogspot alone.

I have no idea what is to become of this blog. All I know is that I'm enjoying this blog already, even from this first introduction post, which really has nothing to do with fashion yet!
